Lahore police arrest 50 for collecting hides illegally

The Lahore police have registered 31 cases and arrested 50 people for collecting hides without permission/approval from the district administration, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to CCPO Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, Lahore police conducted raids in different areas of the city and registered 31 cases of collecting sacrificial animals’ hides without permission.
According to the CCPO, 10 cases were registered in Saddar Division, nine in Iqbal Town Division and two in Model Town Division, five in Cantt Division, four in Civil Lines Division and one in Lahore City Division.
He said no organization or group is allowed to collect skins without permission from the authorities.
