Pakistan Railways has decided to shut down Shalimar Express due to huge financial crunch, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Sources said that the Pakistan Railways administration compelled to close the express passenger train because it was not giving required profit.
They said that the Railway’s Administration was facing a loss of about Rs2 million daily.
The Shalimar Express plies between Lahore to Karachi.
