Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has submitted two requests during the hearing of the Al-Qadir University £190 million reference case in court, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
These requests, presented by his lawyer Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry, pertain to providing exercise equipment- a pair of Dumbbells in jail and obtaining a signed letter for a bank statement.
Imran Khan, currently imprisoned, requested the provision of dumbbells for his exercise routine in jail.
The second request sought permission to have Imran Khan sign a letter required for accessing his bank statements.
The court directed jail authorities to address both requests in accordance with the jail manual.
However, the jail authorities refused to comply with the requests.
They stated that the provision of dumbbells for exercise is against the jail manual, leading to the denial of the request.
Additionally, the authorities have withheld the documents related to the bank statement request.
