Punjab Government has decided to launch a new chatbot mobile application developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to assist citizens in their legal affairs, with an initial focus on guiding women and children on legal issues.

The chatbot mobile application, which recently received the green signal for development, aims to provide legal advice to citizens conveniently at home with just one click.

The government has approved the gradual expansion of the application's scope to eventually cover a broader range of legal issues. Women, in particular, will benefit from the app by obtaining prompt solutions to legal problems specific to their needs.

The chatbot will be equipped to provide immediate answers to any legal point, ensuring that users can access reliable guidance on various legal issues.

Additionally, citizens will be able to receive answers to their questions about chatbots related to legal affairs. The application will facilitate responses to specific situations, making legal guidance more accessible to everyone.

To enhance the chatbot's effectiveness, the Law Department has provided a comprehensive list of general legal questions and answers, which will be uploaded into the system.

One of the key features of this app is its ability to offer immediate legal guidance in critical situations, such as finding a missing child.

With this innovative approach, the Punjab Government aims to empower its citizens by providing them with easy access to legal information and support, making the legal system more approachable and user-friendly.
