His son wrote an Urdu poem expressing his love and affection for his late father.
The poem reads: “Life was beautiful because of your personality. Your kind and gentle conversations were always sweet. From childhood to youth, I held onto your finger on this journey. But in the future, we will feel empty-handed. In loneliness, your shadow is always requested, every moment, every awakening, we feel your absence deeply. We will continue to pray for you throughout our lives, but we will never forget the moments we shared.
Concluding the note he wrote, “Ramadan Mubarak, Baba.”

On the other hand, Aamir Liaquat’s daughter Dua-e-Aamir shared a long note for her beloved father mentioning how difficult this year’s Ramazan will be for her without him.
The post reads: “The pain of losing a father is one that cannot be explained but the pain of losing a father who was such a prominent figure in everyone’s lives is one that cannot be forgotten by anybody.”
She also highlighted how her father spread Islam in everyone’s mind and especially in Ramazan and how he did hard work during Ramazan transmissions. He made it his responsibility to bring joy, happiness, and togetherness in the holy month of Ramadan. From iftars on television to spreading smiles in his game shows, Liaquat's contributions to the country's religious and cultural landscape are immense.
She hoped that the lessons which her father gave to all the Muslims during Ramazan shall stay with everyone this year too.
Concluding the note she added, “Baba may not be with us this Ramazan and for the rest of those to come but he will be in our hearts and prayers. I request you all to remember him in this blessed month. Thank You!!”
