Minimum monthly salary of USC’s daily wager fixed at Rs37,000

Good news for thousands of Utility Stores Corporation (USC) employees, who are working as daily wagers at the corporation, as the minimum monthly salary of each of them has been fixed at Rs37,000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Sources told 24News TV channel that similarly the daily wage of each USC employee, which earlier was Rs1,231, had now been fixed Rs1, 427.

Prior to that, sources informed, the minimum monthly salary of each daily wager was Rs32,000.    

Hence, they added, the daily wages of these employees were now up by Rs196. 

It is pertinent to mention here that the federal government had fixed the minimum salary of a daily wager at Rs37,000 in the last budget.
