Ertugrul's Artuk Bey passes away at 51 

Widely celebrated historical Turkish series Dirilis:Ertugrul's star Ayberk Pekcan who essayed the role of Artuk Bey in the drama serial has passed away at the age of 51 due to being diagnosed with lung cancer.

The role of Artuk Bey had an impactful effect on the masses however the Turkish actor who brilliantly essayed the character has been battling with lung disease since quite a lot of time. Also, some time back Ayberk had shared the story behind him finding out about his sickness on his social media handle.
Here's what Ayberk wrote: "Dear friends. The process that started with the doctor I went to with a complaint of back pain has come to this point today. I have lung cancer. The tumor has also spread to the liver and adrenal glands. Unfortunately, this disease did not show any symptoms in its initial stages. The first day of chemotherapy… My biggest support is with my family. So are my friends nearby… I will do my best to regain my health. Keep your health wishes and prayers with you. Stay well.”
The news of the Turkish star's death has been confirmed by his family whereas Turkish actor Engin Altan who essayed the lead role of Ertugrul has taken to his Instagram handle and shared a snap with Ayberk Pekcan, stating: "RIP Ayberk Pekcan.”
