Achakzai calls for acceptance of public right on natural resources

Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai has said that Pakistan was blessed with all natural resources and Pashtun also believe in no compromise on national security, reported 24NewsHDTV channel. 

Addressing a Jirga in Quetta, Achakzai called for provision of right to public on their natural resources. He said “people wanted to live in an independent way and don’t want to live like slaves in their own country”. He said it was duty of the state to provide CNIC to each and every Pashtun who is born in this country. Achakzai said the aim of arranging this grand jirga was to create an environment of peace and prosperity in the country. He said Pashtuns have given huge sacrifices for the country. He lamented that there were some Mir Jafir and Mir Sadiq in their ranks. 

He said in Pakistan some problems were created by the enemy and for some problems the government was responsible. 

He said on 14 August we all chant slogan of independence but Pashtuns were not given freedom. He said we will continue our struggle for the rights. He said Pashtun want rule of law, adding that people should be given the right on their resources.
