Appointment as principal: HED summons candidates for allaying their concerns

Higher Education Department (HED) summoned all those candidates who expressed their concerns over the procedure adopted for appointment as permanent principals in government colleges, reported 24NewsHDTV channel on Saturday.
Around 200 candidates submitted their written concerns to the relevant officials. Both male and female candidates submitted their concerns in written form.
Special Secretary District Education Department (DED) will hear their concerns. Sources said that candidates concerns will be heard in phase-wise.
First meeting of the committee will hear the candidates on January 27, 2025.
It is necessary to mention here that Higher Education Department started process to appoint permanent principal in government colleges from January 10, 2025.
