Imran Khan wants formation of Opposition’s grand alliance: Fawad Ch

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that Imran Khan has directed MNA Asad Qaiser to hold consultations with Maulana Fazl, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Mahmood Achakzai for the formation of Opposition’s grand alliance, reported 24NewsHDTV channel. 

Talking to media outside Adiala jail after meeting Imran Khan, Fawad Chaudhry said PTI founder wanted grand alliance of the opposition parties against the government. 

Imran Khan was of the view that if next round of talks are made with the government then Maulana Fazl, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Achakzai should be made part of the talks. 

Senator Shibli Faraz told media that PTI wanted the formation of independent judicial commission to probe May 9 and Nov 24 incidents. 

He said if the government was not interested in the judicial commission it means government was hiding its crime. 

Senator Shibli Faraz said if the government forms judicial commission then negotiation will move on. 

He said the country was currently suffering from political instability, with serious internal and external problems. Unless there is a representative government and political stability, the country will not progress, he added. 

Senator Shibli Faraz said for the best interest of the country, PTI founder decided to negotiate, the goal was political and economic stability of the country. He claimed PTI has opened doors for talks. 

He said finally decision of the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee was made, adding that Public Accounts Committee will keep a close eye on the way the government was being run. 

Senator Shibli said currently the parliament was lame and the Senate was incomplete and there were no reserved seats in the national and provincial assemblies. He questioned how will the stability come, in this way, how will the business of the government will run?.
