According to the FIR, the father said that his 14-year-old daughter Rizwana, had been employed as a domestic helper for a salary of Rs10,000 in the house of Civil Judge Asim Hafeez in Islamabad six months ago. When he came to see his daughter, he found that she was confined illegally by her employers. Her teeth, nose, arm, and ribs were broken.

The father said that judge’s wife Somia used to beat his daughter with sticks, tongs, and iron rods. He said that there were deep marks of iron rod beating on her daughter’s back.

The Islamabad police spokesperson said that they were conducting raids to arrest the accused. He vowed that the investigation of the case would be made on merit.

According to the victim’s parents, Rizwana was brought back to her hometown Sargodha with critical injuries caused by severe torture.

The preliminary medical report at Sargodha DHQ Hospital pointed out the teenager suffered injuries at 15 places on her body, including her head.

Sargodha DPO Faisal Kamran said the delay in treatment made the victim to develop an infection.

The teenager, later, brought to the Lahore General Hospital where doctors said her treatment was on.

“All the wounds seem old. Various tests are also being run on her. Delay in treatment resulted in complications. We have also called a gynecologist too. I can't say right now if she fell prey to violence,” said a General Hospital doctor.
