Ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Captian (retd) Safdar Awan has advised the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to pay back loans worth 1100 billion rupees as the province has also fallen behind Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Safdar talked to media persons during his visit to Peshawar on Monday and said he has objected to the nomination papers of Senate candidate Azam Swati.
Criticizing the claim of the KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur about running a train in the province, Safdar said the KP government is imitating Shahbaz Sharif but it should be clear that a train does not run with verbal words so Ali Amin Gandapur must have run a train in his dream.
He said though there is no flour shortage issue in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but the province was facing other basic problems that should be resolved. Like Nawaz Sharif, tunnels, and motorways should be built and employment should be given, he added.
Talking about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Imran Khan, Safdar said he is enjoying chickens and eggs in Adiala Jail and he did not spend his entire life as lavishly as he is doing in jail.
Safdar used the term 'Prisoner Number 420' for PTI founder Imran Khan and said he has the same rights as ordinary prisoners in Adiala Jail.
