Over Rs8 billion in loans given under Apni Chat, Apna Ghar Programme

Interest-free loans amounting to over Rs8 billion have been given to more than 9,000 people in the province under the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s ‘Apni Chat, Apna Ghar Programme’, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Similarly, over 400,000 applications were submitted to the portal for the purpose, which is a record.

As many as five thousand loans have been given in phase-I of the programme under which the construction of homes has now entered into its final stages. 

Similarly, the construction of homes has also started from the loans given in Phase-II.
