'Noor Jahan' star Ali Raza reveals he got big offer from Bollywood’s Yash Raj films

Pakistani actor Ali Raza, known for his standout performances in ‘Mohabbat Gumshuda Meri,’ ‘Noor Jahan,’ and ‘Duniyapur,’ recently received an exciting offer from Bollywood giant Yash Raj Films (YRF).
The young actor’s talent has caught the eye of fans, critics, and now one of Bollywood’s most prestigious production houses.
During a recent interview, Ali revealed that YRF approached him via Instagram, asking him to audition for a scene from ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,’ a role originally played by Ranbir Kapoor.
He recorded and sent them the audition that impressed the casting team, and they invited him to Kolkata for further discussions.
Later on, they asked him to book his flight from Kolkatta. That is when he said that he is from Lahore and he is a Pakistani. This was a disappointment for both sides due to ongoing diplomatic complications between India and Pakistan.
Further, they reassured him, though, that they would keep him in mind for future international projects.

Despite cross-border challenges, Ali remains optimistic about future opportunities. With restrictions on collaborations between the two countries recently lifted, this could pave the way for more talent exchanges between Pakistan and India, opening doors for actors like Ali Raza to work on bigger international platforms.
