Two soldiers martyred, two terrorists killed in Tirah gunbattle

Two soldiers were martyred and as many terrorists were killed during an intense gunbattle between security forces and terrorists in Tirah area of Khyber, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to a statement of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued on Wednesday, weapons and bullets were recovered from the dead terrorists.

Sepoys Waqas Ali Shah and Basit Ali fought gallantly and embraced martyrdom, the ISPR said.

“Such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen Pakistan’s security forces’ resolve to eliminate the menace of terrorism,” the ISPR press release reads.
