Thousands of precious trees were burnt after a fire erupted in a forest in a famous tourist resort of Khanspur, Ayubia near Abbottabad late Wednesday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The fire soon engulfed a large area, posing a threat to nearby human localities
Firefighters were busy extinguishing the blaze till last reports came in.
