Horse and Cattle Show cancelled due to security reasons

The three-day Horse and Cattle Show, that was scheduled to be held in Lahore’s Fortress Stadium, has been cancelled due to security reasons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The show was cancelled after mutual consultation between the Punjab caretaker government and senior military leadership.
It is to be noted here that a three-day Horse and Cattle Show is held in Lahore every year during Jashan-e-Baharan.
It is an important festival that represents the culture and history of Punjab.
Other celebrations of Jashan-e-Baharan will be observed throughout Punjab as per the schedule, the official sources have said.
