Elevator crashes in Rawalpindi; operator dies 

A tragic elevator accident claimed the life of a 19-year-old named Mohammad Tayyab in Rawalpindi, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The deceased, who was employed as a lift operator, succumbed to fatal injuries after the elevator fell in a building.

Rescue 1122 and local police teams quickly arrived at the scene and transported the body to a local hospital for an autopsy. 

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
