Israeli troops opened fire and wounded five residents trying to enter a southern Lebanese village on Sunday, state media reported, on the last day for Israeli forces to withdraw from the area under the terms of a ceasefire agreement.
"The enemy opened fire on residents of Kfar Kila, wounding five people who crossed the barrier and checkpoint put in place by the occupation army," Lebanon's official National News Agency said, referring to Israel.
