Pakistani off-spinner Sajid Khan Sunday lauded the West Indies for their strong performance and acknowledged the growing professionalism in cricket.

Addressing a press conference in Multan, he emphasized his team's efforts to secure victories, saying, "We won against England, and we also won the first Test against the West Indies. We aim to win this Test as well."

"Cricket has become highly professional," Sajid remarked. "No batsman wants to get out, and no bowler wants to miss an opportunity to dismiss the batsman. The competition is intense, and every player is giving their best."

Sajid added that the pitch at Multan has played a key role, and Aaqib Bhai’s decision to create such tracks is commendable.

"Earlier, results would only come on the fifth day, but now we see decisive outcomes sooner," he explained.

Sajid acknowledged his team's lower-order batsmen for contributing significantly to the scores and admitted to some mistakes in their gameplay.

However, he praised the effort of every player including Babr Azam, saying, "Whoever got a chance, played well."

Expressing hope for Saud Shakeel and the incoming batsmen, Sajid said, "We expect Saud to play well, and the next batsmen will try their best to lead us to victory. Nothing is impossible, and we will do everything to win."
