Punjab University inks accord for promotion of research work with foreign varsities

A delegation comprising heads of foreign universities including Palestine, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran, Somalia, and Uganda visited Punjab University, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
On arrival at the university premises, the delegation was received by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mohammad Ali Shah.
On the occasion, an accord was signed for promotion of educational ties between Punjab University and other international universities. The ceremony was held in the Executive Club of Punjab University.
Prominent among those who attended the ceremony were Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr Khalid Mehmood, registrar, controller examination, and other officials who were also present.
Vice-Chancellor of Punjab University, Dr. Mohammad Ali, welcomed all the foreign dignitaries wholeheartedly. Punjab University is a historical educational institution.
Dr Mohammed Ali said that Punjab University occupies a special place in research, technology, and other relevant fields.
He said that we will promote research work in collaboration with other Islamic universities, and exchange of students and faculty members will also start in the near future.
