Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has ordered an inquiry against Director General (DG) Health after suspending him for getting bribery from a lady technician for transfer, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to sources, the provincial government has decided to remove DG health services KP Shaukat Ali from his post after suspension.

The DG health is accused of accepting bribery from lady technician Iram Noreen for her transfer.

In this regard, the sources said that after suspension of the DG health, the Chief Minister also ordered inquiry against him and he will remain suspended till the completion of the inquiry. 

Moreover, it has been decided to appoint a senior officer of the management cadre of scale 20 in the health department as the new DG Health Services.

After the approval of the summary in this regard, the announcement of the appointment of the new DG will be issued soon.
