Areesha Imran makes new national record in Open Shooting Championship

The 2nd day of the 6th CNS Open Shooting Championship 2021 started with high spirits and enthusiasm by shooters.
One New National record has been made in the 10m Air Rifle (Women) category by Pakistan Navy Shooter Areesha Imran scoring 616.8/654.
According to the results, the Navy has won 3 gold, 3 silver, and one bronze medal while Army also received 3 gold, 3 silver, and one bronze medal.
Sindh obtained two bronze medals, both the PAF and the HEC succeeded to win one bronze medal for each.
In the 10M Air Rifle Women Team competition Sara Saleem, Areesha Imran, and Fatima Aftab from Pak Navy won the gold medals.
Humaira Kausar, Nameen Azeem, and Aqsa Shabir from Pak Army receives Silver medals while Saba Mehmood, Aqsa Gufran and Alisha Ghufran from the HEC got the Bronze medal.
In the Skeet Olympic Men Team competition, Usman Chand, Shameel Khan, and Naveed Khan from Pak Army won the Gold medal.
From Pak Navy, Abdul Sattar, Asif Mehmood, and Zeeshan Hussain got a Silver medal and Ahmed Usman, Khurram Inam, and Shakeel Babar got a bronze medal for Sindh.
The 1st medal award ceremony was held at PN Shooting range and was graced by Cdre Kashif Munir SI(M) Commandant PNS Karsaz, who encouraged the shooters and gave away the medals to the winners.
