Interior Minister, US Congressman discuss ways to bolster Pak-US ties

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a detailed meeting with US Congressman and member of Congress Finance Committee Alexander Green in Houston, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and promotion of friendly ties between Pakistan and the US.
Mohsin Naqvi apprised the US Congressman about infiltration of terrorists from Afghanistan into Pakistan.
Interior Minister lauded US Congressman Alexander Green for extending full support to victims of floods and earthquake in Pakistani.
He also thanked Alexander Green for adopting a principled stance on Palestine issue.
The US Congressman asserted that the US and Pakistan are enjoying cordial relations and these ties will be strengthened further in future.
US Congressman Green told Interior Minister Naqvi that he will visit Pakistan soon and will meet with flood and earthquake victims.
It is necessary to mention here that US Congressman Alexander Green had visited Pakistan four times in the past to express solidarity with people of Pakistan.
