Commenting on the removal of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur from the post of PTI KP president on the orders of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Monday that loyalty was not in Imran’s blood, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, she accused the PTI founder of using Gandapur for marching on Islamabad and working against the country’s interests before throwing him away like a ‘tissue paper’. “He metes out the same treatment to all his friends, party workers and leaders. Akbar S. Babar, Justice Wajeeh, Naeemul Haq, Jahangir Khan Tareen and Abdul Aleem Khan are the examples.”
Gandapur’s loyalty towards Imran, Marriyum went on to say, did not pay off. “And at last, the PTI founder removed him from the post on the complaint of his wife Bushra Bibi.”
That’s why, the minister said, all his close associates had left him. “It was time that those who still support him understand his nature and leave him.”
