A few days after the ISPR DG addressed a press conference at which he referred to the workers and supporters of a political party as ‘digital terrorists’, a resolution was presented in the Punjab Assembly on Friday, denouncing this new form of terrorism, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
PML-N MPA Raheel Khadim Hussain presented the resolution, which stated that the scourge of digital terrorism was eating the moral, political and economic basis of the country from within.
In a reference to the PTI, it stated that the workers of the party attacked the state institutions. “They harassed patriotic army officers and their families by posting fake videos on social media,” read the resolution.
