Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Law and Environment and Spokesman Sindh government Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui on Sunday shared a video on his twitter account of 58km Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas dual carriageway that has been built by Sindh government under the Public Private Partnership mode.

In a tweet, Murtaza Wahab said, “The 58 KMs long Hyderabad Mirpurkhas Dual Carriageway has been built by SindhGovt under the PPP mode.”

PPP Sindh Deputy Information Secretary Murtaza Wahab said, “This beautiful infrastructure and even more beautiful surroundings make travelling on this road worthwhile.”

The HMDC Project was inaugurated by the President of Pakistan in November 2009. The project is estimated to cost a total sum of Rs6.2b. The dual carriageway has resulted in reduced travel time and improved fuel efficiency.

A state of the art electronic toll system named Electronic Toll and Traffic Management system (ETTM) has also been installed and implemented for the first time in Sindh.

The project has managed to abide by environmental laws and has ensured sufficient economics stimulation in the area as well.
