Taunsa woman gives birth to quintuplets

A woman gave birth to quintuplets – one of them baby girl – through C-section here at THQ Hospital Taunsa Sharif on Friday.

According to Dr Tahir Hussain Nathkani, Medical Superintendent THQ Hospital Taunsa Sharif, both the woman and her newborn children are perfectly healthy.

There is no need to referrer them to any other health facility. He said that the woman was brought to Emergency Ward of the hospital with severe labour pain where Dr Bushra Ghafoor, Gynaecologist, carried out a successful surgery the woman to deliver the babies.

Resident of Basti Kobar, Sabaz Ali, father of the newborn quintuplets, expressed joys over the blessings of Allah. “It simply, blessing of Allah Almighty and I really grateful to Him for this unique gift.” He informed that he has three daughters before and that he is unable to express his happiness over the birth of five children.

Grandmother of the quintuplets said that at last Allah has granted them “heirs.”

The family celebrated the occasion with distribution of sweets in the hospital.
