On the directive of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the Inspector General Police (IGP) of Punjab has issued orders to the force personnel throughout the province to make a video of every raid, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

After giving a briefing to CM Maryam, the IG on Wednesday ordered that bodycam should be used during raids and where bodycams are not available, videos should be made by using mobile phones.

Moreover, there should be no delay in registration of FIR under any circumstances and police shall not exceed their authority at any place.

Incidents like violence against women in Rawalpindi by police officers will not be tolerated.

The officers themselves should monitor the incidents of child abuse.

Driving licenses should be made in time and recommendation culture should be eliminated.

Officers should make self-visits to improve service centers and ensure quality of service delivery.

To control crime, the patrolling process should be made more effective.

IG Punjab issued orders to all Regional Police Officers (RPO) and District Police Officers (DPO).
