PPP worker Ejaz Mushka Murder Case: ATC awards death sentence twice to Banarsi

The Anti-Terrorism Court awarded the death sentence twice to Shakeel alias Banarsi, a political party activist, after being found guilty of murdering PPP activist Ejaz alias Mushka.
The court acquitted 5 accused due to lack of evidence in the murder case of PPP worker Ijaz alias Mushka who was killed 12 years ago. The acquitted accused include officers Zaidi, Zulfiqar, Adil, Pagla and Kashif.
According to the prosecution, the murdered Ijaz alias Mushka was sitting in his house in Orangi Town Karachi on 20 December 2012 when the accused on two motorcycles came and opened fire on the victim. The victim Ejaz was killed by the firing of the accused.
The accused Shakeel alias Banarsi was arrested from Nine Zero (a headquarter of a political party of that time) in 2015.
Accused Shakeel alias Banarsi revealed that he was involved in the murder of other accused during investigation.
A case was registered against the accused in Pakistan Bazar police station.
