Fawad Chaudhary dodges question regarding media control

Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary Friday dodged a journalist’s question regarding controlling media through the Media Tribunal Ordinance, reported 24News HD TV channel.
The information minister was asked by a reporter of 24 News HD TV during a press conference whether the government was going to control the media through the ordinance.
Fawad Chaudhary avoided the question, saying the press conference was regarding the Palestine issue and he would not respond to any question other than the subject.
The government is bringing the Media Tribunal Ordinance which will empower the government to put have fines on the journalists and send them behind bars if they violate the law.
