Fog forces cancellation of flights at Faisalabad Airport

Flight operations at Faisalabad Airport have come to a standstill due to heavy fog, with several delayed flights ultimately cancelled after prolonged waiting periods, reported 24NewsHd TV channel Sunday.

According to airport officials, flights to and from Dubai and Karachi have been significantly impacted.

Dubai-bound two-way flights FZ 391/92 were cancelled after a 10-hour delay, as were flights 355/56 on the same route.

Additionally, all two-way flights between Faisalabad and Karachi were also cancelled.

Officials have assured passengers that the cancelled flights will be rescheduled once the fog clears, likely tomorrow, weather permitting. The disruption highlights ongoing challenges posed by seasonal fog in maintaining consistent air travel schedules.
