Three hurt as jackals attack humans in Azad Kashmir

Three people including two women were injured when a pack of jackals attacked them in Kotli city of Azad Kashmir on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
This was the second attack by the jackals who preyed on the locals. This time the beasts ambushed the three in Bhata area of Kotli’s Nakyal sector.
Despite hurting the humans, the pack also wounded a number of cattle heads. The locals in retaliation killed one of the beasts.
This is for the second consecutive day that the jackals targeted the local residents, said the police.
The problems of the victims with injuries on their hands and legs were compounded further as the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Nakyal has no vaccine to treat the bite wounds of the beasts.
