A court at Lahore Cantonment on Wednesday handed down seven-year prison terms to each of the three men who had committed a robbery in Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan’s home, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Judicial Magistrate Rehman Ilahi also imposed Rs45, 000 in fine on each of them namely Mehmood Ahmed, Muhammad Kazim and Fahad.

Racecourse police had registered a case against three dacoits in 2020 on the complaint of Sher Shah, Aleema Khan’s son.

According to the FIR registered by Shershah, three unidentified people had entered his home at around 4 am and stole a cheque of Rs3 million, jewellery and an old pistol that belonged to his grandfather.

Police had suspected the involvement of the gardener’s son in the incident and according to media reports the robbers had entered through a door that was accidentally left open.
