Star cricketer Sarfraz Nawaz opposes Rameez Raja as PCB chairman

One of the old Pakistani star cricketer Sarfraz Nawaz Monday opposed ex-player and cricket commentator Rameez Raja as chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Sarfraz was a main attack bowler with Imran Khan in the Pakistan cricket team in the 70s challenged Rameez’s eligibility for the post.
Sarfraz held a press conference in Lahore on Monday and raised some serious questions about the patriotism of the proposed name for the post of the PCB chairmanship.
Objecting to Rameez Raja’s appointment as PCB Chairman, the former cricketer said he was not eligible to hold the post as his anti-Pakistan statements were on record.
The former cricketer said that the chairman of the cricket board should be a patriotic Pakistani but unfortunately, his priority was money, not a country.
