Punjab govt announces free cardiac operations of children

The Punjab government on Saturday announced free cardiac operations of children across the province under Chief Minister Free Surgery Programme, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Punjab revenue department already released funds worth rupees 1.5 billion to four cardiac and two children’s hospital in Punjab for cardiac operations.
Sources further revealed that Department of Specialized Healthcare Punjab requested the Punjab government to allocate budget to meet the expenditures of cardiac operations.
