The distress of a flood-hit woman in Dadu knew no bounds after her goat of a rare breed was allegedly stolen, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The woman broke down and sobbed while carrying the Quran in her hands after the police refused to help her find the goat.
It was learnt that the lady, Gulaban Khatoon, had come to Dadu from Thar in quest of some livelihood with a goat as her only asset.
After the police refused to find her goat, she resorted to roaming in the streets and sobbing out her grief to the people: “I am childless. I had reared the goat as a child.”
