UAE tops it all in sending aid to flood-ravaged Pakistan

At least 133 planes carrying flood relief supplies from 17 brotherly and friendly nations as well as three international organizations have arrived in Pakistan so far to help flood victims; however, the United Arab Emirates alone sent 41 aid planes to Rawalpindi, Karachi, and Lahore, outpacing all other nations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the friendly and brotherly countries have come forward to help flood victims in Pakistan. So far, Pakistan has received a substantial amount of aid from China, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates and a number of other countries.

For flood victims in Sukkur, Karachi, and Rawalpindi, America dispatched 21 aid aircraft.

Turkiye provided 14 relief aircraft to Rawalpindi and Karachi for the flood victims.

10 Saudi Arabian assistance aircraft arrived for the flood victims in Pakistan. 

Eight aircraft carrying help for the flood victims from Oman landed in Pakistan.

Four and four planes carrying supplies each from China and Qatar arrived in Pakistan.

Recently, Indonesia dispatched two relief aircraft to Pakistan.

Uzbekistan, France, Turkmenistan, Jordan have sent one plane each loaded with relief goods in Pakistan on humanitarian grounds. 

Additionally, one aid plane each was deployed to Pakistan by Nepal, Great Britain, Russia, Greece, and Italy.

Three assistance planes were deployed by UNICEF, fourteen by the UNHCR, and three by the World Food Organization.

Pakistan received two trucks of aid from the Turkish Red Crescent.

Three emergency cargo vehicles were also sent to Pakistan by the Turkish government.

A convoy of 87 vehicles carrying supplies were sent to Pakistan by Tajikistan.

Moreover, Iran, Turkiye, Tajikistan, Oman, United Arab Emirates also sent aid by sea. 

100 tonnes of assistance from the Iranian Red Crescent were trucked to the Pakistani Red Crescent.

Likewise, one ship each carrying relief supplies from Oman and the United Arab Emirates was dispatched to Karachi.
