Australia reassured Pakistan of its full support in the fight against the coronavirus and said they were extending help in arranging medical equipment and identifying the infected people.
Australian High Commissioner Dr Geoffrey Shaw, in a tweet posted on Tuesday, said, “Australia stands with our friend Pakistan in its fight against #COVID19.”

“Through our longstanding partnership with the World Bank and Asian Development Bank,” Shaw said, “we are helping Pakistan buy essential medical equipment and increase vital detection of COVID-19.”
“We’re all in this together,” he remarked, while replying to a tweet by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra.
The provincial minister had tweeted last week that the provincial government and the World Bank were together in the current crisis.
