Shujat Ali Khan’s latest single ‘Daradwa’ wins praise

Sham Chaurasi Gharana’s singer Shujat Ali Khan’s new song video has been well received by fans that showered their love and praise on the singer. The song was released on October 28 and within a few days it has attracted over 884,682 views and 3.9k likes.

Song Daradwa has been composed in a completely new and unique style inspired by Thumri Dadra. Imran Akhter, Baqir Abbas and Asim Rajput composed the song while mixing and mastery was done by Afzal Hussain. Daradwa’s video was directed by Asif Massod.

Daradwa was originally sung by the distinguished Pakistani singer Ustad Salamat Ali Khan. Ustad Salamat Ali’s family was of professional musicians from the Sham Chaurasi Gharana (home or school) in Hoshiarpur.
