Marriyum Aurangzeb appointed as Special Assistant to CM, Punjab cabinet to take oath today

Uzma Bukhari will be appointed as Information and Broadcasting Minister, Ashiq Gurmani as Agriculture Minister, Khalil Tahir Sindhu as Human Rights Minister while Zeeshan Rafique as Local Government Minister

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has appointed Marriyum Aurangzeb as Special Assistant to CM as Punjab cabinet members are set take oath today at 4:00pm at Governor's House Lahore.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, Punjab Governor Balighur Rahman will administer the oath from the newly appointed ministers.

According to details, MPA Kazim Pirzada will be appointed as Irrigation Minister, Uzma Bukhari as Information and Broadcasting Minister.

Rana Sikandar Hayat will be made Minister as Primary Education, Khawaja Imran Nazir as Primary Health, Khawaja Salman Rafique as Specialized Healthcare, Ashiq Gurmani as Agriculture Minister.

Khalil Tahir Sindhu as Human Rights Minister, Ramesh Arora as Minorities Minister, Faisal Khokar as Sports Minister, Zeeshan Rafique as Local Government Minister, Sohail Bharat as Telecommunication Minister, Ch Shafay Hussain as Industry Minister, while Sher Ali Gorchani will be appointed as Mines and Mineral Minister.

Moreover, MPA Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman and Bilal Yasin will also get portfolios in new government.

In second phase about 16 members will be inducted in Punjab government as advisors and special assistants to CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Supremo Nawaz Sharif approved the names of the Punjab cabinet members.
