Thanks to successful diplomatic efforts by Pakistan, Norway has removed the country’s name from the National Threat Assessment list, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

In this regard, the announcement has been made in the latest report by Norway Police’s Security Service, which is based on the information provided by the country’s intelligence agencies.

It is pertinent to mention here that for the last several years, the list included the names of Pakistan and some other countries due to which Pakistani students and researchers were confronting lots of difficulties in getting visas.

It had also given an opportunity to the Indian media to continue propaganda against Pakistan.

Now that Pakistan’s name is no more on the list, it is hoped that the development will help improve the country’s image in the world and provide Pakistani students with more opportunities to seek higher education.
