PIA cuts fares for Canada-bound flights by 15pc

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 15 percent reduction in fares for its flights from Pakistan to Canada, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.
The TV channel reported that 15 percent reduction on flights from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad to Toronto will provide cheaper travel facilities to passengers.
Moreover, the PIA also asked passengers to experience the nature and serenity of Gilgit in just Rs8,505 (conditions apply).

Recently, PIA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Arshad Malik had vowed that the airlines would seek resumption of its flights to the European Union (EU) in coming days.
Arshad Malik was talking to an online open court and answered questions asked virtually last month and said the national airline is all set to ask the European Union for the resumption of its historical European routes after successfully clearing the audit phase.
“May 22 plane crash tragedy and coronavirus pandemic became challenges for the PIA. In record time we handed over the bodies of the shuhada of PK-8303 plane crash in Karachi. For the first time PIA increased the insurance of the deceased passengers from Rs5m to Rs10m,” he further said.
