American plane carrying aid arrives at Noor Khan Air Base

An American C-17 aircraft carrying food and other relief supplies for flood victims in Pakistan landed at Noor Khan Air Base on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

Top officials of the Pakistan Air Force welcomed the aircraft at the base.

A spokesman of the Pakistan Airforce said that the aid sent by the United States will ease the suffering of the flood survivors and assist Pakistan during this distressing calamity. He said the USA will continue to send humanitarian assistance to Pakistan for flood-hit victims.   

The USA will send more aircraft equipped with a wide range of relief goods to Pakistan in the next few days to help the flood victims, he added.
