An explosive device detonated on the roadside in the Central Karam area of District Karam in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuring five others.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, rescue sources reported that the explosion also destroyed a car.

As per the police officials who reached the spot immediately, the dead bodies and the injured persons were shifted to a nearby hospital.

The hospital officials told the media that the condition of four out of the five injured individuals was critical.
