A high-speed Mazda pick-up truck overturned near the Sial Mori Bridge in Khairpur, resulting in the deaths of three passengers and injuring over ten others.
The victims were cattle traders returning from selling livestock at the Karachi cattle market, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the channel, all the victims belong to the area of Ali Wahan in the Rohri district of interior Sindh.
The deceased have been identified as Amjad Mitlo, Zeeshan Soomro, and Abdul Ghaffar Mitlo.
The injured include Zulfiqar Ali Maitlo, Abdul Sattar Maitlo, Shahnawaz Maitlo, Abdul Majeed Maitlo, Waheed Ali, Muhammad Sohail Soomro, Imran Ali Soomro, and Farooq Maitlo.
The injured and deceased were transported to Civil Hospital Khairpur for medical treatment.
The police reported that the accident occurred due to an overtaking manoeuvre.
