Former president of Landi Kotal Press Club shot dead by unknown assailants

Former president of the Landi Kotal Press Club, Khalil Gibran was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

The incident has sparked widespread condemnation and calls for immediate action from both the government and local authorities.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur took serious notice of the incident and issued directions to the police to undertake swift and necessary actions to apprehend those responsible for the shooting.

The Chief Minister condemned the brutal act, asserting that the perpetrators will not escape the law's grasp.

He also assured the journalist community of his support and vowed to bring the culprits to justice.

He also prayed for patience and fortitude for the family during this difficult time.

Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi also expressed deep sorrow over the incident. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Khalil Gibran, praying for the departed soul and strength for the family to bear this irreparable loss.
