A man killed his three-month-old baby son following an argument with his wife in Johar Town area of Lahore on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the father placed his foot on his little son and pressed baby Zeeshan’s chest with his weight.

On the complaint of the deceased child's mother, Maria, the police registered a case against accused Mazhar and his two sisters under the provisions of murder.

Mazhar had a dispute with his wife a few days ago, the police said.

After an argument, Maria wanted to take the infant child with her, but Mazhar and his sisters stopped her.

According to text of the FIR, Maria reached Mazhar's house with her father three days later to meet her child.

Meanwhile, Mazhar was standing by putting pressure on the baby's chest, which worsened Zeeshan's condition, text of the FIR says.

Zeeshan was taken to a hospital for medical aid where doctors confirmed his death.

The police arrested the accused and started an investigation.
