Federal educational institutions in Islamabad will close for summer vacation starting June 10, according to an official notification issued Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The schools will remain closed until July 31, with classes resuming on August 1.

The announcement applies to all federal schools and colleges in the capital, providing students with a seven-week break.

The notification emphasized that the extended vacation period is intended to give students and staff a well-deserved rest during the hottest months of the year.
