Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has continued the National Economic Council (NEC) under his chair as President Asif Ali Zardari has issued the notification of the newly constituted council, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a notification, all four chief ministers will be members of the NEC. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Defense Minister Khawaja, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal have been made as the members of the newly-constituted council.

Punjab Senior Minister Mariyum Aurangzeb, Sindh Provincial Minister for Irrigation Jam Khan Shoro, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Advisor Muzamil Aslam and Balochistan Provincial Minister for Planning Zahoor Ahmed Bilidi have also been appointed as the members.

Federal Economic Affairs Minister Ahmed Cheema, Deputy Chairman Planning Dr. Jahanzeb, Finance Secretary Imdad Bosal and Secretary Economic Affairs and Planning have been given special invitations.
